Ideation Contest 2024

Every year we conduct International Ideation Competition on emerging technology implementations.

This year we are planning the contest and it is WRW Services LLP’s turn to sponsor the event.

This event will have two rounds of screening, after prescreening

Prescreening (Ideas which are relevant to the theme and with emerging technology implementation).
Substance Evaluation (Ideas are practical, implementable and scale up opportunity).
Final Evaluation (Ideas are presented with the support of prototype or practical demonstrated video).

Time lines -

Idea Submission Opens from 15.11.2023
Last date for Idea Submission - 24.12.2023
Prescreening - first week of Jan 2024
Substance Evaluation - before Jan'2024 end
Final Evaluation by the jury in Feb'2024.

Team size (maximum) is 4 students.

Prize Money

First Prize - 300 USD
Second Prize – 200 USD
Third Prize – 100 USD

Participation Fee - Nil

Alike in earlier years, we will have the international jury circulated with all the ideas submitted till the final process.

This is an international competition and inclusive of all students across the world.

There is no specific interest in any nationality or divide.

The only limitation is that the participating team members should be currently students (UG, PG or Research).

Preamble

The Ideation Competition fosters the development of impactful ideas, offering participants a chance to win prizes such as cash, mentoring, and entry into the incubator process. Ideas focus on leveraging emerging technologies to enhance citizens' lives, whether through business ventures or community improvements. Judged publicly and by professionals, participants engage with innovative peers, sponsors, and mentors to bring their ideas to fruition.

The competition encourages individuals to identify issues in their community and envision solutions through emerging technologies. By bridging the gap between problems and actionable ideas, the competition aims to transform communities and shape a promising future through the implementation of emerging technologies.
